It is SunCon’s principles that Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health (QESH) plays integral roles in every construction processes. Hence, to ensure that all relevant components of our business are integrated into one coherent modus operandi for optimal achievement and excellence, an Integrated Management System, QESH – MS which comprises the chief components of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Safety and Health Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is adopted. The system is maintained and continually improved through the use of QESH Policy, QESH objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive action and management review.
To design and implement the QESH – MS, SunCon has developed the QESH Manual which outlines the policies, procedures and requirements of the QESH – MS.
Under the QESH Manual, Project Environmental, Safety and Health Plan (PESHP) is established on the basis to determine the criteria and methods required to ensure that the operation and control of various processes covering phases of project development from pre to post construction are effective and documented. In essence, the PESHP serves to ensure unswerving compliance to the Environmental, Safety and Health regulations as stipulated by the Authorities.
