Occupational Safety & Health
We recognise that inculcating good governance for safety, health and welfare at the workplace is essential to achieving business excellence and is a key driver to spur productivity. We are also committed to safeguarding the safety, health, and welfare of those who work with and around us, including the local communities and general public at large.

We believe comprehensive and consistent training is crucial for safe work practices. The Sunway Construction Learning Framework (SLF) offers essential training in safety, health, and environmental topics, tailored to project needs.
Our workers are essential members in the construction industry. We take their health and welfare seriously by ensuring they are free from communicable diseases

Our foreign workers are required to undergo examinations by FOMEMA to ensure they are physically fit for work. We also actively collaborate with medical centres to conduct basic health screenings for our workers, ensuring ideal health outcomes.

We implement the 'Zero Larvae, Zero Dengue' program to drive anti-dengue initiatives on-site, protecting both our workers and the surrounding community.

We prioritise the commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of all employees, contractors, and visitors on our workplace. As part of our ESH Culture, the proper use of PPE is mandatory and essential in mitigating our workplace hazards and preventing injuries.

SunCon's No Smoking policy promotes a smoke-free environment in order to achieve a healthier and pleasant workplace, safeguard non-smokers from the risks to health of passive smoke and protect the Company properties from increased risk of fire.
We acknowledge the risks that construction activities may pose to the local communities surrounding our project sites. We strive to continuously maintain our record of zero accidents involving the public through sustainable safety and health practices at our worksites.
Product Quality & Responsibility
SunCon’s commitment to excellence ensures quality management, enhancing growth, customer satisfaction, safety, and reputation while minimising risks in project delivery.
SunCon's quality approach focuses on three key assessments that drive feedback and continuous improvement in our operations and services.

Fair Labour Practice
At SunCon, we prioritise fair labour practices by ensuring safe working conditions, fair compensation, and respect for workers' rights. We uphold anti-harassment policies, manage grievances fairly, and actively engage with employees to improve satisfaction and welfare.

Community Enrichment
At SunCon, enriching communities is deeply embedded in our DNA as part of the Sunway family.
Through our SunCon Social Club (SSC), we actively undertake social initiatives to bridge inequalities and make a meaningful impact on lives.

SunCon engages with underprivileged communities potentially affected by construction activities through dialogue and feedback sessions, integrating input into project strategies.
